Eric started out on the right foot, learning to program Fortran on punch cards on an IBM System/360 mainframe with an astounding 8 kilobytes of memory.
Alas, punch card programming was boring, so while waiting for the Web to be created, Eric ventured off as an award-winning reporter, photographer and editor at four different newspapers, including managing editor for The (Newark) Advocate. While at The Advocate, Anderson spearheaded the newspaper’s move to a state-of-the-art production facility which included one of the first digital photography production systems in Ohio.
Eric holds a BA degree in journalism from The Ohio State University, has completed various Microsoft development classes, and has taught web marketing and online strategies for the Publishers Marketing Association (now IBPA).
Today, Eric is president of Newark-based FutureThru Group, Inc., a software company specializing in web applications and online marketing programs.
